It is good to see what you decided to do. I had my second appointment with Dr Pennington last friday and I think i now have more uncertainities that I did before! I also don't have enought tissue for two breasts but he will DIEP the left which has already been removed and radiotherapied and then he will use an implant for the right. I am interested to know what you look like now and how the irradiated skin is holding up with an implant. I have decided I don't want the risk of capsular contracture in the left and so am willing to have diep and implant to avoid this. I also asked if there were any other fat deposits he could use and hips he said were very painful and very low down on the list (diep and implant being higher).
How far post surgery are you? How do you feel? I am also going to Mac Uni Hospital, it sounds lovely!
