I must be getting better

Good day to you all my fine ladies! Well here I am off to another round of Herceptin tomorrow - I think it will be about the half way mark (keep losing track) any way, my children must think I am out of the woods because now they are giving me some serious curry.  As most of you know I had to close my Facebook account for various reasons - and it appears I chose wisely - my second youngest son (the one who just got married) apparently dished out a serving of serious abuse aimed at me.  So glad I didn't see it, my eldest daughter had informed me of the event.  In the meantime my eldest daughter gave me a serving of how she was going through some difficulties and I 'just didn't get it'......I haven't seen her for two years and I am sad to think that my effort to ring her ended up in me getting 'a bit of a talking to'.  I guess I must be getting better! that is, health wise because now I seem to be stepping back in time to where my children regard me as a door mat.  I have been through the chemo, radiotherapy and ongoing Herceptin - and boy, lookout have I a big 'target sticker' on my forehead?  I tried to draw that line in the sand, but they love to cross it and thumb their noses.  Forgive me I feel a tad hurt and confused by it all.  Well the upside is that my hair is growing back (thick and fast!) yay - no curls though at this stage, but I'm patient.   After going through all this, I would have thought that my little darling off-spring would show me some love (I'm only entitled to tough love apparently) so I sit here, bottom lip on the ground and cross-eyed withh a dazed expression! The big huge upside is that my Oncologist is "pleased with my progress"....................so bottom line? That is all that matters! Throw me a hug x x x Josie
