Can I ask how you found out it was in 5 lymph nodes? Did you have any radiation on them?
I have had 6 lots of EC Chemo, LH mastectomy with 2/3 lymph nodes removed which turned out to be 9 nodes and 8 had cancer in them.
The chemo seemed to have no effect on them.
I had 5 weeks of radiation over my chest and under my left arm and now
I'm doing physio as my fluid level has increased a lot and lymphadema is a real worry.
In a few weeks I have a mamo and ultra on the other side and back to the surgeon for a check up. I expect I will be asked to have a CT scan to check on the lung spots too. I'm on estreogen blockers and stacking on the weight from them. That's my excuse anyway :) Hopefully I will be able to have a rest from appointments and tests soon. My hair is growing back
but it's grey and curly and not like my hair at all, so I have bought new wigs to keep me going. My toes are still burning from the chemo and one of my toenails went black and has a pain right through the nail. Weird isn't it.
