I have IBC

Hi Paula, 

Regarding the clear magin thing, My mastectomy was clear but the Lymph nodes had extensive cancer with 8 of the 9 with cancer and the cancer had escaped out of the nodes so now I'm having radiation treatment,  Had my first today and I feel so weak and tired now and it feels like my costochondritis is starting to flare up which is scary for me. 

 I feel very unattractive too, and even felt I had to apologise to the nurses in the radiation dept for "not looking a pretty sight".

 I started my hormone blockers Arimidex about 9 days ago, so far so good., 

If I didn't know better, I would be thinking how ugly can cancer treatments make you look?  and how sick can they make you feel?

 One day when they find a cure, all of these treatments will be looked as something from the dark ages I expect.

When I go out, I put my best wig on and extra make up because I know people will be looking at me to see how I look.  Most of the time, people say "but you look so good!"   If only they had seen me bald and lopsided?
