Thought I'd make contact. According to my oncologist, about 500 women per year are diagnosed with IBC. I know I found it hard that there was no-one else at my clinic with it and the other women had never heard of it.
I finished my treatment in early 2010, after 19 months from go to whoa. I continue to enjoy good health and just don't believe it will come back. You can make yourself believe if you keep talking common sense to yourself.
One thing I did learn during treatment is that we all find the courage and strength to deal with it all. We women are amazing!
