I hate the mirror
Some days I find it so hard looking in the mirror. I just can't stand the way I look. My hair has started to come back, I don't bother with scarves or wigs anymore, too hot with my flushes and just pl...
You are so beautiful. I have always thought that from your pic. Just because your body has changed you are still in there. I was always trying to change my self and being envious of others who were "more pretty". Hell no now, I am me and that's it. It has taken me nearly 8 months to lose 2 kilos. (only because I am so busy and don't have time to eat meals - renovating!!!) I went for my GP Health Plan update a couple of days ago and was thinking that the nurse would "go off" at this slow weight loss. She was really pleased as she said that the average person put this much weight on each year. When you are on treatment it is so unnatural so our bodies react in ways we don't like. Time, time, time - anyway it is doesn't happen it doesn't matter. We are all still who we are no matter what. Just put on your best smile - it sure helps me. Just yesterday I saw a young woman with a shaved head - no scarf or hat - and I thought Yeh good on you. One thing Life has taught me is not to judge anyone as I don't know what path they have just travelled. If only everyone was aware of this. Annie is correct. We are all so strong from our BC experience and a strong woman is very sexy!!! XLeonie
