I did it!!

So today was my last day of radiation, which means my treatment is officially OVER! 

WOOOOOOO!!!

I made a big box of treats to take in to the staff at the radiation clinic, it's going to feel weird not having to go there every day. But now at least I can properly concentrate on getting back to feeling human, and basking in the light at the end of the tunnel!

And here's me having a celebratory drink at lunch today! I don't care if it's breaking rules, I think I earnt it, and it was delicious! (It also shows where the hair and eyebrows are up to now!)

So cheers everyone, thankyou for all the support and kind words along the way. I couldn't have done it without you!

    Thanks for all the kind words and congratulations :-) 

    I'm doing my best now to get my life in order before I go back to work - I don't have either a start date or a job yet, but I know that the more things I get done now (all the things I normally don't think I have the time for) the more prepared I'll feel for when work does come. 

    I'm now concentrating on getting my body back too - trying to break bad diet habits and lazy (non-existent) exercise habits! Not getting all fanatical as some do, but I want to be able to say that at least I made an effort. 

    Nan is doing well, 1/2 a lung removed and 3 broken ribs later, she is travelling ok, just waiting on the surgeon checkup in a couple of weeks and then fingers  crossed she doesn't have to have any further treatment. But one step at a time. I'm just happy that she's still here. 

    Just thought I'd drop in here before bed, hopefully everyone is doing well :-)

    Well done doing the 6th chemo, I had my 6th and last yesterday, emotional day, happy and sad tears, so glad it is over.  Will be starting radio soon as well, look forward to your updates.

    its the most wonderful feeling when its all over and then there is this feeling of let down, its about not having appointments everyday to go to, very strange.

    You are looking fantastic, just be prepared it takes a while to get back to your self, I think I has taken me about 8 months.
