I did it

Hi all

Well, 14 months ago I began this process . During chemo there were days that I thought it would never end. I've had my ups and down which I have shared with many of you. I've laughed and cried, again sharing it with many of you. I finished my treatment last week and today I got the results of the bone scan and ct scan. It's official! I'm cancer free!!!!!! I have always felt that I have been cancer free since my lumpectomy but to hear the words out of the oncologists mouth is just the most wonderful feeling.  To all the newbies who wonder how they will get through, you will. When you need support that you can't get from those around you, there is always someone on here who will support you. To the wonderful ladies who have supported me and helped me along, I will be eternally grateful. Thank you all so much. I'm off to celebrate!!! ?? Karen xox

  • Hi Karen

It's so reassuring, to those of us just starting out, to read your words, and see that there is an endpoint. I'm glad you had good news. Stay well
