I am going to my 1st chemo right now!

Hello dear ladies, its been a while since my last post. As some of you know I did a genostic test CTC and I am super glad I did it as my plan of FEC and Taxate was not going to be the most effective in my particular case...The best drugs this test showed are Fluoracil (FU-5)  Doxorubicin and Paclitaxel as well as Herceptin. so after talking to my oncologist I am having my 1st of 3 cycles this morning in a few hours...Please think of me and send me light!...I also started last week a program at Gawler Foundation, I would strongly suggest to any of you around Melbourne to give it a look .It is simply wonderful!

    Hi Leonor,

    Hope your first chemo session went well on Thurs and you had minimal side effects. 

    Take care and hope you are having a relaxing weekend recovery.

    wow..things have come a long way since 1998 and 2003, when i had treatment.

    sending LIGHT...

    i would like to hear more about the gawler treatment  and how much it costs etc.

    i saw a programme on tv.. australian story i think about ian gawler and when he had bone cancer?

    Hope the side effects are minimal... & good on you for doing the test :) Very happy it worked out for u....
