I am 2 weeks past my last chemo and 2 weeks pre radiation therapy and feeling really depressed and irritable. Everything seems hard and difficult to be motivated. I wish life would go back to normal.

So glad you have a good GP tn as that can be half the battle. I have relied on my GP for help so much over the last 2 years. Not sure how I would have coped without her.
I hope you are feeling a bit better or getting on top of things hun.
We are all here for you.

Hi tn,
It looks like you are getting some helpful suggestions from the ladies who have been through what you are now. In between now and your appointment you might find some helpful info and links in emotional wellbeing section of our website:
There have also been many members in the online network who have felt like you do now. You might like to read this blog post from Moira:
Good luck and remember - be kind to yourself.

Lots of funny movies can also lift your mood or some really beautiful music that you love.

Hey tn
I am so sorry you are feeling so down. Have you spoken with your medical team about how you are feeling as they may be able to offer some advice. Alternatively just give Cancer Council a call on 131120 and have a chat with someone there. They may be able to help.
Try and get out in the fresh air, even just to sit for a while. Try and go for just short walks even around the outside of the house. Any roses near you stop and take in their beautiful perfume, it can be amazing what it can do.
Your life will return to normal, I promise but you need to pick yourself up and carry on and get through this and look to the future with hope in your heart. The end of the tunnel is there you just have to keep looking.
You will be very tired from what you have been through and what you are going through. That is very very normal so don't beat yourself up over that. Go with it for now but look towards your rads being over and getting that "normal" back. It is out there and you will find it.
Lots of love always, Mich xoxoxo
