Hi Dot, I have not been on for a while, as I get addicted to these sites and need to spend time in the real world, out and about in community etc. I had severe menopause after chemotherapy. The idea of a small dose of hormone sounds plausible perhaps if symptoms are VERY severe. I have oestrogen vaginal pessaries twice a week, plus livial daily. It acts like a hormone. Plus I have small does of antidepressant which helps with flushes and aches and pains and mood. I am over the worst of menopause symptoms now. I go in second to third gear these days. Take time to adjust to all the changes.
