@arpie, my support group at the Wesley was supposed to have a talk on this at one stage and its use with cancer support but it was to be rescheduled to this year some time. So the session will be very interesting.
My husband was in a trial for side effects from his cancer in his neck. It went every day for 1 hr for 6 weeks. The aim was to improve his saliva gland function which was comprised from his radium treatment.
He had no side effects and things improved a bit for him. That's awhile ago now so I am sure the use and treatments have improved.
