Yes I found the same, altho i was on steroid meds for each dose of chemo infusion..they alway make u extra hungry. I am currently on low dose of these & taking it daily..doc is trying to wean me off them, which is proving difficult as i am having them for reduction of swelling. I am still finding that i am quite hungry in the mornings, but with the drugs i am on I get very fatigued and not a lot of activity is happening, so i am not using all that energy. I feel now that i am finally getting a bit of a balance.
I think the trick is to walk or do some extra activity if u feel ur eating too much, but at the end of the day if u add a few kg's it doesn't really matter. My chemo team would rather me a little more 'robust' as one day i might need that to fall back on..they aren't worrried, so why should i??
