How Time Flies!
Hi Everyone - looked at my blog and realised that it was November since I last wrote. How can 7 months have disappeared!!!!!
When I last wrote, I had just had the expander put back in. It went well and no infection happened which was a relief. Had the expanders filled in November, December and January. Kept telling people I felt like i was going through puberty - each fortnight my boobs kept growing!!
I had the expander exchange op done in February and went well.
My challlenging (formerly evil) left side is a little wonky as the scar from the lumpectomy did not allow the skin to stretch as it should have and is little flat however in the scheme of things, no one else would really notice.
I can down the track, opt to have it reconstructed again if I choose, but at this point dont think I would worry. Cant see myself losing many kilos and becoming a bikini beach babe :-)
As I kept my nipples and had them grafted back on (look nothing like they used to though) - they are a bit uneven in colour and the left side is not quite the right shape. I will be having them tatooed in the next month or so!
Will try to write a bit more often!
