- FlaneuseMember@TonyaM thank you so much!
- TonyaMMemberI go to my local Myers where they have a lady who specializes in prosthesis fitting. You’ll probably find they go by your bra size and bring out various sized ones for you to try on. And trust me,you’ll know which prosthesis feels right/comfortable. You can always take it back if it’s not. Finding a comfortable bra is the harder part and I keep coming back to the Berlei post surgical bra.For me,it’s the most comfortable. It’s trial and error with bras
- FlaneuseMemberThanks @Afraser. I've had a good Brisbane one recommended to me. Fingers crossed that it will be the right one first time.
- AfraserMemberMy supplier measured me. I agree lopsided weight feels odd and also does your spine no good. Because of a persistent seroma, I had to wait a year for a proper prosthesis - took me a day or two to work out why I had some back ache after it was fitted!! It didn’t take long to rectify itself, more crazy that I didn’t realise it was happening. She also had a good range of suitable bras. Sorry, Melbourne based only. Good luck.
