I pretty well stayed away from public places when I was on chemo. Noone with any germs was allowed in my home. If anyone visited me I would sit on the verandah in the fresh air. You don't need to be cocooned but just aware of catching germs. I never ventured out until at least the 10th day after chemo and only to shopping centres that were not contained in big shopping complexes. Just be sensible and go with your gut feelings. XLeonie
