Hot/Cold Flushes
I spend my days alternating between being too hot and too cold. I guess I have hot flushes but are cold flushes a thing as well? Or is it just I get cold because I've been sweating and have taken off...

Hi Allicat, I've been wondering the very same thing, infact I looked up cold flashes the other day to find that they do exist as well as the hot ones. Like you, I'm not sure whether I'm having them or just freezing because I have thrown all my blankets off and then fallen asleep, only to awake frozen sometime later. I am really over all these hot and cold flushes, and wonder if they will ever end. I'm 53 and have had them for several years while pre menopausal. I tried all the natural things, but nothing worked for very long. I finally went on HRT after a normal mammogram and enjoyed 3 months of no hot flushes. Then I found out I had breast cancer, so had to stop. Now after the chemo and tamoxifen I'm fully menopausal, but I'm still getting them. I'm now on femara, and they have changed in intensity, and are back with avengance, hot and cold. Oh, what fun.
