Hi Meree,
I'm wondering if you mean hormone treatment? The ladies who responded are talking about hormone replacement therapy.
I'm also triple negative, but was diagnosed with ER+ the first time round. The cancer came back as triple negative. The Oncologist didn't really know whether I should take the tabs or not (I was an unusual case) and said it was up to me if I wanted to continue the hormone therapy from the first cancer. He said it wouldn't hurt. Worst case scenario is that it wouldn't do anything! So I changed from Arimidex which caused joint pain and bone loss, to Tamoxifen. It's much better!! Very tolerable.
So I'd say yes. The treatment at least will prevent a positive cancer coming back. There's not much we triple negatives can do about preventing a negative one eh.
Cheers
Diane
