Holiday after treatment finishes?

Hi tingy, I'm in a similar situation as well. I booked a family holiday 1 month before I found out my bc. I booked and paid a deposit for a cruise to Malaysia and Thailand leaving from Singapore in Jan 2017.

I had my lymph nodes clearance 3 weeks ago and my first meeting with oncologist is in 2 days to discuss chemo and radiation.

I have 3 kids under 10 and cruise is a very ideal holidays as the parents can relax and kids can have a good time as well....we went on a criuse just last january and loved it....we didnt have to think about where and what to eat and kids just wanted to go to kids club all day....perfect for me ??

After thinking long and hard hubby and i didn't want to take a risk so last week I canceled the trip and thankfully I got all my deposit back. I know kids will be disappointed when told but the risk is way greater than the benefit.

To be safe i think I won't go overseas until a few months after all treatments completed. I don't know where u can go in Australia and u can really relax....with 3 kids under 10 ????
