HIT
Hi
Question for everyone. I have been having dizziness since chemo/radio . Rang my onc after a baddish attack way back in July - balance out (hit the doorway walking through) nerve damage in feet and hands went haywire (which worried me more at time) felt like I'd been plugged into electrical socket!! Onc wasn't too worried as I had no headaches or nausea. Just had to ring if it got worse or above started. Hve worked out since that its my balance thats out, it can get fairly bad when tired, but the balance is allways just slightly out (especially at work on computer) more annoying than anything. As I said its mild.
This last appointment I mentioned it to him and off for a brain scan - which was clear. When he rang with results I was too busy doing happy dance and didn't listen closely to him. He mentioned having MRI and ear may be damaged from chemo. But didn't arrange any extra appt just next 3 month check.
Anyhow what I hadnt told him was that I am also getting funny feelings in right side of face - tightness behind ear, cheekbone, mouth and eye. I didn't mention it cause I hadn't noticed it it was mild. But while stressing over scan and then stressing over mammo / us every now and then it gets very noticable - no pain - if I do some relaxation things eases a lot. Can't believe they don't think stress causes cancer!!
Pretty sure I've had it since chemo, but other things were worse than it!!
Anyhow decided I'm having my xmas break (2 weeks) then I'll go to local doc to get checked out.
Back to the question - anyone had same? And does the CT brain scan pick up bone cancer as well.
Álso about 6 weeks ago while pruning hurt my right elbow, rested ti few days then continued pruning oh owww, did same rest and continue two more times. Now I'm giving it a big rest, but its my right elbow and I'm not very good at lifting with left hand (kettle, frying pan etc) So this pain is mostly mild but ongoing, so will get that checked I suppose as well!!! Feel like a hypercondriac (scuse spelling).
Have had 2 bone scans, the last in July. Am only on hercepton now but the bone pain is ongoing, eased a lot and mild but if I get cold I ache. Second scan said whatever I had in my shoulders has spread to most of my bones, but no doc has commented on this so gather its age related (benign arthropathy).
So I've unloaded, thankyou for listening.
Pam
