Love that idea, @AllyJay thank you ... I’ve tried all the biltong/jerky in town but it is horrible! Jerky is so sweet! I really need to make some more biltong! I Just use coriander, pepper and salt .... YUM! I made up a drying box that hangs on our back verandah to dry in the natural wind! YUM. That can be a lockdown project!
I have lots of TBones in the fridge ... he gets the Eye Fillet and I get the Sirloin! We’ve just had bacon and eggs with tomato and cheese .....
He snuck up and ate a meuslie bar or two overnight, so his blood sugar is up to 12.7 this morning! :( So now I have to ring the hospital today .... and will probably need to walk for hours tomorrow before the PET scan to get it down. Last time they couldn’t get it lower than 11.4! It is supposed to be 9 or under for a PET scan. He had to stop his diabetes tablets on Tues, so it will naturally be higher too :(
