High grade DCIS
After a mammogram guided core biopsy my surgeon rang to say I had DCIS and he would need to remove a small area which would probably be all that was necessary.
A few days later he did a lumpectom...

Thanks for that. He did ask whether I wanted to go to a bigger cup size before the op but at the time I was concentrating more on just getting rid of the disease.
The expander thats been put in is a small one but it still seems pretty big to me, even with no saline in - its just great that there's sometimes the possibility of choice these days, when my mum had her mastectomy that was it, end of story !
I'm feeling very positive, so thank you all again for your support.
