High grade DCIS
After a mammogram guided core biopsy my surgeon rang to say I had DCIS and he would need to remove a small area which would probably be all that was necessary.
A few days later he did a lumpectom...

Have you had your implant in yet Merylee, if so, what are the next two ops for?
I did have a photo taken after the lumpectomy but before the mastectomy - you're right I should update it and keep a record for when its all over. I've got a feeling I'll have the expander till the latter part of 2012 as we'll be away again for a couple of months midyear and I don't think there will be enough time to get it done beforehand. I'm just lucky that's all I have to worry about, my heart goes out to all those women who have a much bigger fight to face.
