High grade DCIS
After a mammogram guided core biopsy my surgeon rang to say I had DCIS and he would need to remove a small area which would probably be all that was necessary.
A few days later he did a lumpectom...

Glad it all worked out ok for you.Sounds like you've avoided radiation and chemo AND got a new boob on the way- good for you! Your bc "journey"won't drag on for ages.Wishing you all the best for 2012.
