High grade DCIS
After a mammogram guided core biopsy my surgeon rang to say I had DCIS and he would need to remove a small area which would probably be all that was necessary.
A few days later he did a lumpectom...

Thanks Michelle and I agree wholeheartedly about the support, caring and knowledge from all the lovely ladies, yourself included, I hadn't realised how important that would be to me.
I'm sorry to hear you've had trouble with your expander and hope it will be resolved in time, its all a bit scary, I suppose we make the decision on what we hope will give us the best outcome in the long term and hope for the best.
At the moment the dcis is only showing in one breast so I think I'll concentrate on that one.
I've now got an appointment for a second opinion on Monday so I'm hoping this will give me the confidence to make a decision.
