High grade DCIS
After a mammogram guided core biopsy my surgeon rang to say I had DCIS and he would need to remove a small area which would probably be all that was necessary.

Some breast surgeons put in the expander same time as the mastectomy and then get a plastic surgeon to do the actual implant later.If you have a lumpectomy again then you'll probably have radiation and you'd need to see a radio oncologist.You won't have to have chemotherapy so that's good cos it's the hardest treatment. Some tough decisions for you- take your time until you feel comfortable with your choice.
