High grade DCIS
After a mammogram guided core biopsy my surgeon rang to say I had DCIS and he would need to remove a small area which would probably be all that was necessary.
A few days later he did a lumpectom...

I did ask would plastic surgeon be involved but he said that he would do recon himself unless I wanted to involve plastic surgeon - we were talking implant here rather than complicated ones.
Asked also about oncologist being involved but he said not usually necessary for DCIS -
