High grade DCIS
After a mammogram guided core biopsy my surgeon rang to say I had DCIS and he would need to remove a small area which would probably be all that was necessary.
A few days later he did a lumpectom...

yes 2nd opinion sounds like a good idea!
or go back to that surgeon and get all the answers u want.
radiation does have an impact on what recon u can have. but only restricts u a little. hope everything works out & makes more sense soon.
have u spoken to a plastic surgeon yet about recon?
