Hi to everyone

Hi everyone, I just wanted to join this group as I have had 3 lots of herceptin 15 to go plus I am about to start tamoxifen tablets for 5 years. I had the herceptin with my last three chemo's, (docetaxel - nasty stuff) I have now finished my chemo. Yay!!! I have had numb feet, fingers, tongue, and aching in my bones, joints and muscles. So I'm not sure if that is from chemo or herceptin. I cant wait to be finished of these horrible drugs. I am also having nose bleeds and gastric.

    Hi, I also have had herceptin for 12 months and finished in Dec 2010.  I agree with Sam as the numbness goes away after chemo has stopped.  Herceptin didnt have any side effects with me and I even went on holidays to Tasmania and took my treatment with me to have in Hobart.  I also had nasty nose bleeds with chemo and am now OK.  Take care.

    Hi Chrissy,

    Congratulations on finishing chemo!!!!  I have been on herceptin since feb 2010 (my treatment is ongoing)..i found very few side effects..the numbness etc u spoke of would most likely be from the chemo drugs..those effects wore off after some time and my feeling came back in my fingers/toes..

    Good luck with the upcoming herceptin only treatments
