Hi Anita, you are allowed to be scared. When I was first dx I saw no future for myself. I cried, many times and I was scared. I had advanced breast cancer. To begin with I worried so much about what stage cancer it was. I had convinced myself that I would not see boys grow into young adults. I would google life expectancy. Much of this worry did go when I started chemo and I began to take on a more positive attitude. Yes, I did have cancer, but I was going to do whatever it took to beat it. I have had 8 rounds of chemo, double mas, 30 lymph nodes removed and 5 weeks of rads. I am now cancer free. I still feel anxious at times, but I know that is normal.
All the best for your appointment tomorrow. I am sure you have been told this many times, but do ask lots of questions and you know you can get lots of advice here from the many of us who have been through it.
Sending a big HUG your way.
