I have only been on Arimidex for 7 weeks so I don't have many side effects yet, apart from achy fingers and toes occaisonally. I am taking a lot of supplements, one of which is Indole-3 Carbinol which is suppose to work the same way as the hormone blocker drugs. I have read that people take this when the going gets too tough on Arimidex etc. My naturopath has me taking this as an extra precaution, so at the moment I am still taking Arimidex as well. If you have definitely decided to stop the drugs, there are a lot of natural supplements out ther that a good naturopath should be able to help you with.
