hi again

hi all,

well i'm back like the proverbial bad penny, i have been off line for a couple of weeks, i was in hospital due to an anurysm in the brain (not cancer related), when they got in there they actually found 2, so they clipped them and alls good so far (apart from the comb over) so back to wearing a hat for a while again, looks like a 2 year old has given me the haircut lol. anyway enough about me, its onwards and upwards, and i wish you all a great many wishes for 2011, i might even be able to have a glass of wine by then so will toast you all,  TO ALL MY NEW BC PALS KEEP ON TYPING AND HELPING XXX a positive thought i now know i have a brain even if it has been fried lol XX

    Sometimes I think this site is a bit complicated!!!! Seems like you do have to stalk to find everyone....I have been thinking of you and wondering how you were getting on.   Then whamo I got my "news" .  Then off the air for whatever technical problem.  I went to Melbourne early December and met up with Di and Daina for a coffee.  They were very "muddled" with the renovations.  Anyway I got to see a bit more of Camberwell and of course visited the local shops.  I now have my dates to visit the oncologists in Brisbane.  - 20,21 and 25th January.  Hopefully we will be able to get to the airport and it is operating.  We are cut off from Rockhampton by flooding at present and of course the airport is flooded.  I think we all need to catch up later in the year - maybe somewhere sunny - can't catch pneumonia again from Melbourne weather. Good to see you back XLeonie

    Hi there, good to see you up and at it again!!!!

    I haven't had a great couple of months and like you haven't been "stalking" the blogs but watch out everyone ..... I'm baaaack!!

    I'm with you on the "brain thingy" there Moira.  Had to have a brain scan early Nov for a suspected problem, went back to the oncologist and he said "there's nothing there".  Thought for a moment he meant the brain but he said no, we have photographic evidence that it's there.

    I can sit back and laugh about it now.  There's been a lot of tears in 2010 but the good bits outweigh the shitty bits ..... so rock on 2011

    Awwwwwwwwwww lovely to have you back Moira, sorry you have been unwell.  But I do know that it is hard to keep a good women down.

     

    I too have been away for a while and am only just getting back on line today.  So it is onwards and upwards.  Bring on the new year with lots of lovely exciting and healthy things coming our way.
