Hi Tonya,
Hope you can slow down and try to enjoy this new chapter in your life, picking the furniture etc,and enjoy having your daughter with you as she will not be there for long and once she moves out again this time it will be for ever (hopefully) are they building near you? You are lucky if they are.
My son and family are moving to the Gold Coast which is about 5-51/2hrs away at the moment they are only 1 1/2hrs away which I thought was bad enough I have to keep telling myself at least it is not overseas or the other side of Australia but it feels like it to me as we will not see much of them now and will miss out on the grandson a lot. Will be so glad when this year is over, I am planning on a whole new life.....not sure what I will do but will do something.
I have started to get the stiffness in the joints from the Arimidex and with a bad dose of hayfever and Matt leaving this morning (for the G/C) I am feeling very sorry for myself.
Did your chest remain tender after rads for very long? I find it uncomfortable to wear the prosthesis for very long it is so tender, also restricted my arm movement again.
Hair only about 1/2" if that so will be wearing the rug for awhile yet it does get so hot and itchy (lice!!!)
All the tests have come back clear and next appoint with Dr in Jan so all good really shouldn't whinge but sometimes it is hard not to have a bit of "I Feel Sorry for Me Day" occassionally as long as it is not too often I think we have earned it.
Well cheerio for now, hope you are having a bit of fun with your new home,
Take Care
Jacqui xxxx
