Herceptin all finished!!!

Hi all,

I hope everyone is travelling ok. I have finally come to the end of my hosptial treatment. I finished my final herceptin yesterday. Phew! I made it!!! My oncologist was so proud of me with the way I handled it all and doesn't need to see me for another year!   I'll be on Tamoxifen for the next year then hopefully switch to Femara. Long journey which began last May!!!  Can't believe it. I know I will miss the nurses at the Ivy Suite.

Thanks to all my wonderful medical team and the ever wonderful and supportive pink sisters on the BCNA site. I couldn't have got through without such inspirational and supportive  women!  Many, many thanks!!!

    Congrats Alison on coming to the end of treatment- sure was a long haul for you and you faced it all with such courage and positivity. I hope the Tamoxifen is treating you ok.Enjoy the school holidays and keep in touch.
