HELP!!!
Hi everyone, i am very new to this ( computing ) not sure i am doing it right, anyway since my last blog i have seen the oncologist and i am in a bigger mess than when i was first diagnosed. I have ...
i was told the same as you in regards to getting the same benefit from radiation treatment and chemo. I had 2cm IDC , grade 2 / stage 11, and 96% / 98% hormone receptive and because there was no lymph gland involvement it was better treated with hormone therapy and radiation. I am so happy not to have chemo, it is such a hard treatment and if you can get away with out having it then great.
If you still feel unsure with your choice then you have every right to ask for a second opinion or make another appointment with the surgeon and ask every question you need to until you understand fully about treatments.I was put onto tamoxifen, and zoladex injections also
Good luck with what you decide and just remember it's your body and you have the final say .
