  • That is such good news Terry.

REmember to take it slow as your immune system has been totally smashed and it will need all the goodness of food to build it back up again so please be patient with yourself and take you time.  Your training bathers will still be there and not totally disintergrated by the time you have slowly built yourself back up.  I am so glad though that you have a goal and that you are working towards it.  Nurture yourself and don't expect miracles as your body need to recuperate.

Lots of love always, Mich xoxoxooxxo

  • Thanks Mich

Im doing ok actually. I hit a hole for a while but I think I can smell the end of chemo and its lifting my spirits. The fact that I cant eat much is a bonus because Im losing weight woo hoo cant wait to pop on my training bathers again and go out with my old squad.

    Hope you are doing ok

    cheers

  • I have always opted for the Pharmacy style skin creams, which are as natural as possible.  I also discovered I have never needed to pay a lot either, but have constantly had compliments all the time for how great my skin looks.  Im 47.  Simple range, especially cleansing facial wipes, and wash my face with sorbelene cream.  For oil I dab on Palmers Coco Butter Skin Therapy Oil.  (save a fortune, you dont have to pay for Bio Oil).  Cetaphil Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion is all Ive been using on my face of the last 6 months, and I constantly get comments about how great my skin looks.  For Dry to Very Dry Skin, non greasy, frag free, non-com, derm recommended.  Cant go wrong.  Dermaven have a lovely skin care range, but you pay extra if its for the face.  (I have worked in retail for long enough to realise we are all a bit steered by merchandising, promotion, and brand names),  My fav brand is Natio, I use the roll-on Deodorant, and I have to say, I bought it 9 months ago!  Sure I could only use it under one arm for half that, but it seems to be lasting forever!  XX Bel
