I have just had my first Docetaxel too and yes it is horrid, I am on day 10 now got through the bad days and I found that lemonade icy poles were good, and don't forget to use salt and water gargle too. I had no taste the worst was my cuppa in the morning, also had very bad intigestion and went to my GP and got some nexium, it will pass, oh and I also used ice with mineral water that was soothing also. Hang in there, day at a time.
