One day on here I stumbled across a lot of great handy hints from various experienced chemo ladies. I thought I had successfully cut and paste the points, and the copy I printed now lost, came back to my computer to find the rest of them. I cant remember where they were I think just attatched to some-ones blog. It was excellent, just things to buy in preparation from itchy skin cream to what ice blocks to buy! Does any-one have a list? Thank you - Bel.

The only thing we bought lots of was gloves - in case anyone had to clean up any nasty side effects! I've just had my second dose of AC chemo (4 x 2 weekly doses) and so far, so good - certainly haven't needed the gloves.
I drink so much water! I have a great drink bottle that has a straw built into it and I just suck on it all day long - that has been the best thing. It also means there's no cross contamination with others in the house as i just don't use the glasses, it's always my drink bottle and no one else touches it.
Fingers crossed your chemo goes well tomorrow (and the days afterwards) - I've been following your story with interest :-)

Yes I understand not running out and buying all of it. My brother is a doctor and he just said to take one good multi vitamin each day. I got Swisse, the only one that doesnt have iron, as I have an iron issue! I went for my second physio app today, and now I have a compression band on order stage 1 for my arm. To prevent fluid and in 6 months may consider a firmer one if I need it. The cording is better after a treatment, thats for sure. XX Bel
