Help - what Bra?
Okay.. so I've had a lumectomy... and my boob and underarm are sore... so (another silly question)... do I, or do I not wear a bra? If I do can anyone recommed a good sort/style?

I got the free bra from the BCNA My Care Kit through my breast care nurses when I had my mastectomy and silicone implant reconstruction on 03/02/12 and it is AMAZING, a Berlie post surgery bra, very supportive, front and back opening, pockets for prosthesis is needed, soft and comf, yuo can also buy the bra's from lingerie stores or large department stores like Myer etc they are about $65 I think. Also I have been loving those Ahh bra crop top type bra things (the cheap ones though, mine only cost me $8 each from a discount store).
So ask your breast care nurse (or any member of your breast cancer team - surgeon, oncologist etc to see if they can order you one), the breast care nurses seem to know more about them, than most of the other related medical people, but I am sure any of them could order it for you, if you don't have access to a breast care nurse.
As to ice or heat, you are best to ask your breast care nurse or surgeon, as they know what is best for you post op.
