Hello

Hi Everyone,

Glad to have found a group of ladies with the same type of BC as have found TNBC is rarer compared to the other types of BC. Looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing our journeys.

  • Hi Jacqui,

Glad to hear you have finished your treatment. I will be there in 2 more weeks. I will also be feeling a little bit apprehensive. Even though I try to keep positive it is always at the back of my mind about it coming back. I don't think I will stop feeling this way until the 5 year mark so I can totally understand where you are coming from. I think having cancer changes everyone. It is good to have a support network of people who understand what you are going through and esp with the same type of BC to help each other.

  • Morning Jacqui and Renata.

Jacqui so glad your treatmetn is finished. I cant wait to be where you are. If all goes to plan I will be treatment free 4 days before xmas this year! It is scarey though with a higher chance of reoccurance, it is always in the back of your mind.

Renata, welcome. Hopefully we can support each other along the way. xo

  • Hi Everyone,

I was diagnosed with TNBC last Nov and have just finished my treatment. It has been a long and emotional year and Im so glad it is over. I am so tired of it all and dread the many follow up Drs visits this year. It is hard to accept after all that effort and emotional pain, that there is no guarantee of good health. Sorry if I sound neg, its early in the morning, cant sleep. This experience has changed my life, changed my soul. I am not the same person I was last year. I know life goes on and I will do my best, I guess I am finding it hard to just pick up my life where I left it. Anyway the sun will be up soon and another day to live, there are alot of people worse off. Good to join a group of ladies with the same diagnosis.
