Hello

Hello,

I'm happy in a weird way to find that there are so many people diagnosed with Triple Negative BC when I was led to believe it is quite rare. It's a comfort for me to know that I'm not alone!   I live by myself on the south coast of NSW but have support of my family...I travel to Bowral for my treatment.

Last year I had my first operation and started chemo but after getting an infection stopped treatment.....now it's back!!

Anyway this year I am three down with three to go and so feeling pretty good about that! Got to say this year went for the wig library....blond would you believe....they say they have more fun!!!!!

    Hey KerryYou are on the countdown now believe it or not.  This whole chemo thing will be over before you know it luvy so just hang in there and do the best you can.  Day by day is how we get through and you have got this far so you will manage the rest with ease.Blonde is definitely the way to go girlfriend so you get out there and live up to the name of blonds have more fun.Keep in touch as I would really love to know how you are going, good or bad, we are here for you.Lots of love always, Mich xooxoxo

    Hi Mitch,  so glad to receive your message,helps so much to have contact. I'm pleased to announce that I am now 4 down with only 2 to go although it's only day one so not looking forward to the week ahead!The blond was my sons idea !! H e also suggestd red but I just couldn't do it!Hope all is going well with you and thanks againKerry xxxxxx

    Hey KerryWelcome to this group of Pink Sisters. I am so sorry to hear you have had to do it so tough but glad u are now back on track.  Was your infection from the actual surgery point or other issues.   I am glad to hear you are feeling pretty good and are half way there with chemo. The Wig Library setup is amazing. I also went for blonde but not sure about the fun at the time though (lol)  You will have to put a pic up in your profile with you in your blonde wig and show us all.I have a good friend who lives in Ourimbah but not sure if that is near you or further up the Coast.  Have you joined a support group of any sort in Sydney?  The group will be able to give you support I am sure.I don't have triple neg BC but wanted to say hello, welcome and to say please come on here anytime to vent, chat, tell us good and bad news, ask advice and anything else with wonderful site can help you with.Lots of love, Mich xoxo
