Hello from Brisbane

Hello everyone,

I am newly diagnosed.  Last week the world changed for me and here I am.  I have been booked for a single modified radical mastectomy in ten days.  This is scary but not as scary as the thought of not being around to see my children have their own children.

I'm just taking each day at a time and hoping things are going to get better soon.  The bad news just seems to keep rolling in at the moment.

Priorities are being shuffled and I'm appreciating family and friends that I love at the moment.

Thanks for letting me in here.

Natasha

  • Thank you Shat and Leisa.  I appreciate your comments.  I hope you are both doing well and continue to do so.

I have a bone scan and CT of the abdomen this week so I'm hoping those results are going to be clear and I can focus on beating what I know I already have.  The unknown is difficult but I hoping when all the tests are complete I will have better focus and can just be determined about it.
