Hello everyone
I'm 43 with a 12 y/o son and 10 y/o daughter and one fabulous hubby. Unfortunately I live 2 hrs away from all the medical services I now have to attend. This is exhausting.
My story started in Jan...
Yes welcome to our site. Sam has given you some wonderful advice. Please don't let this be a lonely journey for you as there are so many of us "pink sisters" ready and willing to "chat" with you. As you will see we all support each other through the good and the bad times. Any questions that you may have, please put up on this site. There is always someone who "has been there" and can offer their view on what worked for them. I too will put in a contact request. By doing that I can then "keep an eye on your progress" through the fog. You will be amazed at how quickly your treatment will progress. It is now nearly 10 months since I finished chemo!!!! Hard to believe. Just keep looking forward. I always have a "project" to keep me looking forward and I will continue to do this and it seems to work for me. It may also be helpful for you to seek out a support group that is close by to you. I did this and have gained some wonderful friendships. Best wishes to you. XLeonie
