Hello and thank you!

Hello beautiful ladies. This is my first post. I'm a 36 year old mum of 3 kids (ages 8, 7 and 4), wife, uni student and artist. I was diagnosed with a grade 3 HER2+ five weeks ago after finding a 3cm tumour. I had an oncoplastic/lumpectomy procedure two weeks ago (2mm clear margins and lymph nodes are clear!), my IV port surgery last Friday and my first oncology appointment this coming Monday.

What a blur! I can't believe quickly my life has changed! And the emotional roller coaster is like nothing I've experienced. I do feel like it has rebalanced my priorities though and I'm looking for the silver lining in every situation. I'm still processing the fact that I had breast cancer and now have to get sick through treatment to really send it packing, hopefully forever.

I just wanted to drop a line in here to say this forum has been a major comfort to me. Reading all the stories here really makes me feel like I'm not alone and that I can do this! So I just wanted to say thanks. This is a sanity-saving resource and a rich blessing, as you all are!
