A little baking soda might be okay in water...but it tastes so bad you might not tolerate it.
Yes...only use the tablets as directed. I couldn't tolerate the maxalon (restless legs etc)...so had stemitil as the base treatment and the ondasatron before main meals. I timed the stemitil /maxalon about 2 hours before meal times...and stick to the time table as directed..
With constipation...I needed movichol sachets (started day before chemo round). I know it's another medication but it's only usually 4 rounds of this horrid stuff and you just do what it takes to get through it.
