I'd be takin that nausea medication regularly because how it works is by emptying the gut. I thought they would have recommend that? Although I was on a different chemo I had terrible gas, reflux and nausea. I needed extra days on dex, stemitil 8 hourly, ondasatron wafers just prior a main meal and nexium twice daily. The medications really helped and enabled me to eat and of course drink. Mylanta liquid or tablets might help too in between to settle the burning...which is stomach acid burning your oesophagus. ..which you really don't need with all its enduring due to chemo. If it worsens over weekend you might need an emergency department visit (especially if you can't drink enough fluids)
Our stomach linings are impacted by chemo too...which might be giving the feeling of tbe lump. Hopefully it will settle in a day or so.
