Well I reckon they'll have plenty of blips to check out today - so am just pleased that they should show & prove I wasn't faking it, as they couldn't 'spot any' in the GPs office 3 times or at the hospital (all with ECGs that didn't pick it up either!) ....
They were pretty constant until 1.30am, then there was a break til 3.30am, then slept til 7.30am! (but I bet there were still a heap in the 'down time' that I didn't wake up to.) I pushed the button on as many as I was 'sure of' - I'd wait for the 'dump feeling' then monitor my carotid until the next ones happened noting the times, sometimes just saying 'numerous skips'.
SO ... a good way to monitor your own is with a blood pressure machine - it shows the heart beats as a small heart turning on & off ..... and when I had the 'skips' the heart would remain SOLID for that missed beat. Some smart watches also have the facility to do a mini ECG as well apparently!!
I am not feeling as highly anxious as I was on Sat 3am when it happened really badly - the Dr who attended me at the GP actually rang me yesterday afternoon to check just how I was! I thought that was lovely!! If I need to swap GPs again, I know who I'll be going to next!! ;)
