Hi Jovra,
No, I did not have a big break between cancers - only a year and a half. The chemotherapy treatment seems to be the same, even two of my meds are the same (1 chemo and the herceptin) with one new chemo med this time.
Yes, I two have support in neighbours. One of our neighbours took the kids after school this week when I had my chemo and looked after them, did their homework with them and the home reading so when my husband and I picked them up, he was able to just feed them and get them ready for bed. It is good to have support.
The teachers and principal at the school have been good and very supportive and the kids have settled in to the school, so I'm feeling very comfortable with their school routine.
Now it is just a wait and see how I go with the chemo over the next few months.
