having a bad week
Hi to everyone havent been online as have spent the last 10 days feeling pretty miserable, having been reading some of the previous posts and we all seem to be in the same boat at the moment, perhaps...
Hi Wendy, so sorry to hear about you having to come off the denosumab. I have been on it since diagnosis about 10 mths ago. I have regular dental checkups. At the last one the dentist said my gums were receding badly. Not what I wanted to hear. My onc has now spread my injections from monthly to bi-monthly. I fear I will end up with ONJ myself one day.
Can you get some sort of home help from the shire/'council to come in one or two days a week to help you with the housework. Let your pride go and accept some hel. Sit back and relax. it doesn't ,matter if your house is not as sparkling clean as it used to be. I think your family and friends would understand.
I would also like to mention that there is a wonderful Cancer foundation based in Bendigo Vic. that houses the most amazing country properties on their books that are totally free to breast cancer sufferers. We took up the option some months ago and went to Daylesford. The house was amazing. Fresh linen supplied. Everything except your food and drinks. It's called the Otis Foundation so give them a ring if you would like another break. They can be found on Google as well.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy your few days away and forget about your cares during this time.
