hi robsue,
I am 5'3 and used to be 60 kgs...now 64 kgs..I try and watch what I eat and exercise, swim therapy, etc..but it is not as easy as when younger and more energetic.
Menopause..slows metabolism..so it is easier to sit all day..etc and you tire more easily. The tamoxifen may not help either. I get stiff calf muscles also, so try slowly and gently at first. I have had to slow down since BC, and early menopause at 42. now I am 55.
Do not be so hard on yourself, and as your husband is 6' 4", he may need more kilojuiles daily than you.
Concentrate on being HEALTHY !
Learning to relax and breathe slowly.. and deeply...helps as when you are stressed you release more cortisol and that helps to lay down fat.
I meditate daily, ( lie on bed or couch and breathe slowly.. letting mind just be in neutral ) listen to music maybe, and if you do not feel any better soon.. perhaps mention to your doctor. You may be becoming depressed and that can make you not think clearly also, plus weight gain.
You do not sound very happy to me; there is no point in being miserable. Going through a BC experience is stressful enough. TC of yourself.. learn to love the skin you are in, no one is perfect !
If you are not getting support from husband, perhaps show him the BCNA site for helping a loved one through BC etc.
Concentrate on getting well, and putting yourself first atm.
I hope you feel a little better about things soon.
love kathy. OOXX.
